June Marie Holmes' Obituary
June was born in Freeport, New York, on June 27th, 1936, to loving parents John Barbaro and Estelle Cipriano. She attended Our Holy Redeemer Catholic School and Freeport High School. She was employed there by the New York Telephone Co., Hampstead, New York. She moved to Clearwater, Florida, in 1961. Here she attended St. Petersburg Junior College. She was employed by Pinellas County schools, where she was a Teacher's Aid at Walsingham Elementary and High Point Elementary, a Property Control Clerk in the Property Records Department, and an Account Clerk in the accounting department; she retired here after 30 years of service. She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Parish, where she taught CCD and sang in the choir. She belonged to the lay order of Marian Servants at Our Lady Divine Providence House of Prayer in Clearwater. She was a member of two chapters of the Red Hat Society, where she served as co-leader, treasurer, and originated the newsletter. She was a past member of the Itlain/American Women of Today Club. June was a devout Catholic, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and will greatly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Pucket and Robin Gardner; a son, Robert Holmes (Brenda); five grandchildren, Christina Vanhaerents, Joshua Vanhaerents (Brittney), Brandon Puckett, Amber Puckett, and Zeita Gardner; and 6 great-granddaughters, Bella Chene, Sophia Chene, Mila Chene, Evelyn Vanhaerents, Scarlett Vanhaerents, and Hazel Vanhaerents.
