I remember Kathy's relentless dedication to caring for her Julian grandchildren when they were youngsters--arriving early in the morning, taking them to school and picking them up when necessary. She frequently conversed with me in her thick Polish accent, which at times I had difficulty understanding. She appeared to me as being a very strong and wonderful woman.
