Jessica Caudle
I just stumbled over this while I was clicking on the LCHS site. I'm so sorry I didn't know she had passed. My heart goes out to her boys and to everyone who knew her. She, indeed, was an amazing soul. I'll never forget the first time I met her (in the dorms at LCHS). Perhaps, my memory is a little skewed, but she was like a god on campus. I was a new sophomore, and she was the mighty drama queen (in the real sense- a very good thing), not the drama queens of today. I was too intimidated to even talk to her. I went to see her in a play (Joan of Arc) and was amazed by her talent and insight. Throughout the year I was there, I cried over her poetry and stories, and I never let her know how much I appreciated her. I know she didn't know it, she inspired me greatly through the years to get up on stage, tell it like it is, and be a real human being.
RIP, Katherine
