Dear Kathy, your aunts and cousins are mourning your loss. I hope when Aunt Angela and your cousin, Christine visited you towards the end of your final hours that you heard their loving and thoughtful words. I am thankful you had them for a couple of hours.
You recently told me – as you often did - you were always thankful that Aunt Dolores, Aunt Angela and me “had your back.” I am glad we were there for you until the end of your life.
Like all mothers you always over-extended your kindness and love to your children and especially your grandchildren. I hope they all remember you as a kind lady.
And, remember Nettie’s Quote: “You May Find a Friend and you may lose another, but you will never find a friend like your own Dear Mother.” (Kathy I can hear and see you laughing!)
Well my dear niece Kathy if you believe you will pass on to another place of peace and love - we never discussed this – if so, you deserve an aura of tranquility. Till you all meet again: Betty, Larry, Linda, Kathy may your souls all rest in peace.
Your death is a great loss for me, first Aunt Dolores, and then Linda.
Love Aunt Jeanie
