Kathleen L. Chasse's Obituary
Kathleen L. Chasse, 82, passed away on December 6th, 2022, at home in Clearwater, Florida after a 12-year battle with heart disease. She was born on May 24th, 1940, the daughter of Arthur Cyr & Lucy Gallant Cyr Portrais, in Madawaska, Maine. In 1976, she married Roger Chasse in York County, Maine, and together moved to Florida in 1994.
Kathleen is predeceased by her parents Arthur Cyr & Lucy Portrais, and brother Raymond Cyr, Son Michael Cantara, Granddaughter Baylee Cantara, and Niece Pamela Cantara.
She is survived by her husband Roger Chasse, son & daughter in law David & Pamela Cantara, daughter and son in law Dianne & Charles Rowe, two stepsons David and Daniel Chasse, a brother and sister in Law Donald & Joann Cyr, a sister and brother in law Dorothy & Clifford Levesque, brother and sister in Law Donald & Laurie Cantara, six grand children Magella Cantara, Kera O'Neil, Benjamin and Alexandria Rowe, and Joey Chasse, nieces Debbie Leclerc , Stacey & Melissa Cantara, nephews, Michael & John Levesque Cy and Jeff Cyr.
Kathleen was a devoted Catholic, and enjoyed quilting, playing cards, & leading Coffee Klatch at Ranch Mobile Home Park. She successfully ran multiple bowling leagues, and Portside Restaurant. She was an amazing cook and devoted chef.
She leaves her family with many fond memories.
