Keith S. Markham, Jr, 89, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024 in Clearwater, Florida.
Keith was born to Keith Sr. and Hester Hill Markham in Jacksonville, Florida. He graduated from St. Paul’s Catholic School in St. Petersburg, Florida where he met his future wife, Mary Theresa O’Rourke. Being surrounded by water, Keith was an avid fisherman, and taught all his daughters (and friends) how to fish. He was very active in his daughters’ sports activities, and, along with Denny Karcher, created the Pinellas Youth Conference, to expand school sports programs to include all south, central and north county Catholic schools. Keith worked for the Pinellas County Property Appraisers Office for many years until his retirement.
Keith is preceded in death by his daughter, Eileen, and his sister Bette Piccolo. He is survived by his wife, Mary and his three daughters, Colleen (John), Kathleen (Dan), and Maureen (John), and his grandchildren, Erin, Michael, Ben, and Ethan. He also is survived by seven great-grandchildren and his sister Terry.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
