Keith D. Miller's Obituary
Keith Miller, age 68, of Pinellas Park, FL, passed away on April 2, 2023 at Largo Medical Center. He was born on August 24, 1954, in Adrian, Michigan.
Keith graduated from Adrian High School in 1972, where he lettered in Wrestling and Cross Country. He also enjoyed playing chess and ping pong, and riding his motorcycle. He started working at McDonald's in 1971, where he met his wife, Sheryl. They were married September 15, 1973, and moved to Bradenton, FL. In 1976, they moved to Largo, FL and later bought a home in Pinellas Park at Autumn Run. In 1978, he went into car sales. Toyota first, then he switched to American made. Ford, Pontiac, then Jim Quinlan Chevrolet, Dimmit Chevrolet, and then on to Maher Chevrolet for the past 10 years.
Their two boys, Bradley and Daniel, were born in 1984 and 1986, respectively. Keith baptized both of their sons at The Largo Church of Christ. The whole family then moved their church home to The Northeast Church of Christ in Clearwater.
Both sons married and gave Keith and Sheryl two beautiful grandchildren, whom they cherish. They also shared three wonderful Schnauzers, Smokey's One, Two, and Three.
Keith was a godly man, and attending church and praising God was so important to him. Keith shared God's love in many ways .He would write inspiring letters about the employees of many businesses when he felt they were doing an exceptional job. He loved to encourage and uplift people for the kindness that they showed him. He always ended his letters with a scripture. He was one who planted the seeds of God's love in others.
Family was also very important to Keith. He was a very devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather. Keith always told his sons, "Your one true love is God. Obey His Commandments." Brad and Danny were always very proud of their dad, and Keith did everything he could for them spiritually and on this earth. They turned into two great men, and he was so very proud of them always.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Virginia Miller, and his sister Sharon Fitzgerald. He is survived by his sister, Karen Woods, and his brother, Michael Miller, his wife, Sheryl (Grof) Miller, their two children, Bradley Miller (wife Christina), and Daniel Miller (wife Tiffany), their two grandchildren, Aiden Miller and Hannah Miller, a niece, Barbie Coulson (Husband Nathan), a nephew, Jeff Mayer, and three great-nephews, Aaron Coulson (wife Bethany), Mitch Coulson (wife Kayleigh), and Jeffrey Mayer.
He will be deeply missed always, and he will be forever in our hearts. He will be watching over his family and friends from Heaven.
His Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Park Station, 5851 Park Boulevard, Pinellas Park, FL 33781. Following the service, there will be food and fellowship until 5:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donation of blood to a local blood bank or a contribution to the American Heart Association in Keith's memory would be greatly appreciated by the family.
