Keith G. Pooton's Obituary
Keith G. Pooton, 70, of Clearwater, FL passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021 under Hospice care. He was born May 12, 1950 in Mt. Vernon, NY to Frank and Violet (Slate), who have predeceased him as well as his step-mother, Helen and sister Vern. Keith moved to Florida in the early 1960's and graduated from Clearwater High School in 1968. He went on and earned 2 Bachelors degrees , one from USF and the other from FSU. Keith worked for a time as a clerk for the FBI. In his down time, Keith enjoyed reading books about airplanes. He is survived by his long time best friend, Billy Joe Dowd and other best friends, Janet Whedon and Tommy Stern.
