Kenneth E. Griffin's Obituary
Kenneth E. “Ken” Griffin, 52, of Clearwater passed away Jan. 22, 2019 at home after a 5 year battle with ALS. He was born in St. Petersburg, FL to Joshua David, II and Marjorie Griffin, who survive him. Clearwater High School Class of 1984 and USF graduate, Ken was proud of many things, including his wife Jennifer of 28 years, 3 daughters, Lauren, Brooke, & Reagan. He is also survived by 2 brothers, Joshua David, III and Steven (Sarah). Ken worked at Tech Data for most of his career, was a past Board member and volunteer for the American Lung Association and the ALS Association; past President of the Pinellas County USF Alumni Association, Past President of his HOA, and former member of the Rough Riders. Ken enjoyed travel, camping, biking, running 5k’s, spending time watching his kids play sports and the beach. He visited 43 of the 50 states and parts of Europe. Ken was an avid fan of all USF sports. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the ALS Association of Florida,www.webfl.alsa.org. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, Jan. 30th, 2:00PM at Espiritu Santo Catholic Church.
