Kenneth A. Paine's Obituary
Kenneth Paine was born to the late Agatha Hernandez and Aldwyn Roberts, better known by the stage name Lord Kitchener on October 2, 1946, in San Juan Trinidad. He attended San Juan Government school, where he obtained his High School education. Kenneth immigrated to the United States in 1972 and settled in Orlando, Florida.
Kenneth married in 1972 to Maxine and went on to have 2 children, Kenneth Paine Jr and Andre Paine. Kenneth was an extraordinary musician who loved enticing people with his steel drum skills. He played steel drums for over 15 years in Disney World at the Pirates of the Caribbean section. Kenneth was known for being incredibly passionate about his steel drum career, where he was able to earn the respect of so many of his peers as a talented musician. He was described by many as a “badass panist.”
Kenneth was a giving, caring, and selfless soul. He shared his passion for his craft through mentoring others and would do anything for anyone. Smart and a perfectionist, almost to a fault, Kenneth would describe himself as occasionally being “stubborn.” With a generous heart of gold and never hesitating to help people out, Kenneth will be missed dearly in his community. Kenneth transitioned on June 10,2022 at Morton Plant Hospital
Kenneth is survived by his sons Kenneth and Andre Paine, his sister Margaret Morman, Kernel Roberts, and Quweina Roberts. His nieces Natasha Morman, Nicole Forde, and nephews Dexter Chavalier, Eddie Morman, Clyde Belgrave, Alvin Gibbons Jr., and Steve Gibbons. Also, a host of great-nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his sister Jennifer Gibbons, Agatha Hernadez, Aldywn Robert’s, and Vincent Hernandez's parents.
