Kenneth Eugene Smith's Obituary
Kenneth Eugene Smith, 83, passed away on June 16th, 2023, at home in Clearwater, Florida. Kenneth was born on June 1st, 1940, in Marietta, Ohio, the son of the late Raymond G. Smith and Iris E. Cullison.
Kenneth is predeceased by his parents, and his daughter Kendra Smith. He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years Gina Smith, daughter Kathy Schutz, and sister Sandra Lynn Syrus.
Kenneth served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and retired in 1978 after 20+ years of honorable service. Following his service, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Tampa and worked as a technician for the State of Florida. Kenneth was a member of the local VFW, and enjoyed playing pool, and was an avid Rays fan. He also enjoyed collecting coins, and was a huge fan of country western music, his favorite song- "The Keeper of the Stars" by Tracy Byrd.
