I wish I had known Kent. He sounds like a very talented and remarkable man and I am sorry to learn of his unexpected passing. I am writing this note to his family because I believe, I had met some of you at Wayne's wedding in the early 1960. If I am incorrect, please ignore this email. My classmate, Karen Simmons, married a Wayne Joranlien and I'm wondering if Kent's brother was this person. I lost touch with Karen over the years and would like to connect with someone of his family.
I now live at Oak Crest in DeKalb, IL and have recently met Joan Stanley, who knows of Kent's sister Joan. If anyone would like to contact me it would be greatly appreciated. My email address is [email protected]. Thank you and again, you have my sincerest sympathy.

Dear Sandra and family,

Sorry this is late, but we just recently returned from our winter travels. Upon sorting our mail, I saw the obit in the Lodi paper. (In case you're not sure who this is Sandra, I worked in the lab at UWHC, and I am from Harmony Grove. We, also, worked out at Curves together in Lodi.) I have always enjoyed your company and just wanted you to know that I send my sincere condolences on losing Kent. While I never knew Kent, I know that you two had something special together. I'm hoping that all the wonderful memories, over the years, will help sustain you as you work through this difficult time. Sending hugs and keeping you in my thoughts and prayers, Sandra. God Bless.
