Kevin Mark Sweyer's Obituary
Kevin Mark Sweyer passed away on April 29, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of service, passion, and deep familial love.
A dedicated professional, Kevin served as a Registered Nurse, standing bravely on the front lines during the COVID-19 pandemic. His commitment to caring for others in their most vulnerable moments was a testament to his character and his compassionate spirit.
Outside of his calling in healthcare, Kevin found peace in the simple joys of life. He was an avid fisherman who loved the quiet of the water and a spirited sports fan who lived for game day. Whether he was cheering on his New Orleans Saints, following the action on the baseball diamond, or rooting for the Tampa Bay Lightning, his enthusiasm was infectious. He also held a lifelong fascination with airplanes and spent many quiet hours immersed in his Bible, finding strength and guidance in his faith.
To his family, Kevin was a "great big brother"—a steady presence whose loss will be felt profoundly.
