Kim Gelin's Obituary
Kim Gelin, 54, of Clearwater, FL, passed away on December 17, 2025, at St. Anthony’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL. Kim was born on February 12, 1971, in Danville, New Jersey, and moved to Florida at a young age. She spent most of her life in Fort Myers, FL, before relocating to Clearwater in 2015.
Kim built her career as a Service Consultant at several automobile dealerships, where her professionalism, warmth, and dedication left a lasting impression on those she worked with and served. She will be remembered as a beloved daughter, devoted mother and grandmother, cherished friend, and loving partner. Kim had the most contagious smile one that made everyone feel welcome and drawn to her presence.
Being missed will be an understatement. Kim was truly amazing, and the love, laughter, and spunk she brought into the lives of those around her will forever be missed and remembered.
Kim is preceded in death by her father, Gary Nixon, Sr., and her son, Bobby Gibson, Jr. She is survived by her mother, Norma Nixon; her daughter, Brittany Gibson; her brother, Gary Nixon, Jr.; and her two grandchildren, Braylon and Riley.
A gathering will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 6:00 PM, with a Celebration of Life beginning at 7:00 PM at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, located at 693 S. Belcher Rd., Clearwater, FL 33764.
