Klaus P Cisliek's Obituary
Klaus Cisliek, 85, of St Petersburg, FL, formerly of Long Grove, IL, passed away on June 29, 2023. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many who will miss him dearly.
Klaus was born on August 7, 1937 in Berlin, Germany, to Paul Cisliek and Hedwig (Willmann) Cisliek. Klaus was an accomplished soccer player, having played semi-professional soccer in Germany. He also completed his apprenticeship with Siemens in Berlin and came to the United States in 1956 to work in the tool and die industry in Chicago. He continued to play club soccer in Chicago where he met the love of his life, Ursula (Kistner) Cisliek. Klaus started a tool and die company in the 1960s that grew to over 100 employees and two locations Delta Tool Company in Mount Prospect, IL and Delta Tech Mold in Arlington Heights, IL. He loved to golf and was an avid traveler, having travelled the world from Alaska to South America, Europe and many countries in between. Klaus and Ursula relocated to Florida in 2001, however Ursula passed away suddenly in early 2002. Klaus eventually settled in St Petersburg, FL, where he lived for the remainder of his life. In the past few years he suffered from a variety of medical issues but was a fighter until the end.
Klaus is survived by his daughter Monica Comella, his son Ronny (Tanja) Cisliek, his grandchildren Keri (Joseph) Isacovici, Daniel (Elizabeth) Comella, Olivia (Christopher) Van Zeeland, Nick Comella, Eric Cisliek, Lisa Cisliek, three great grandchildren and his sister Helga Milton.
