Lawrence Donald Lense's Obituary
Larry “Lefty” Lense, age 92, of Palm Harbor has sadly passed on December 4, 2023. He was born in Covington, Kentucky on October 12, 1931, to Fred and Martha Lense. He proudly served as a Yeoman Third Class in the Navy and met the love of his life, Pat, while stationed in San Diego. Larry and Pat shared their lives together for 69 years of marriage, raising their children and moving around the country for work until settling in Palm Harbor, FL in 2018. He was passionate about cross-stitching, deep sea fishing, and going on cruises everywhere.
He is predeceased by his wife, Pat Lense; parents, Fred and Martha Lense; brother, Fred Lense Jr.; sister, Jeannie Krumer; daughter, Deborah (Lense) Wright; and grandson, Nick Lense. He is survived by his son, David Lense; grandchildren, Chris Wright, Britton and Sara Lense; two great-grandchildren; nephews and niece and many cousins.
A Celebration of Life Mass will be held in his honor at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 10742 US 42, Union, KY on January 29, 2024, at 10 AM. A reception lunch will follow. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Penfield, NY at a later date.
