Lenard Lee Mitchell's Obituary
Leonard Lee “Lenny Boy” Mitchell born to Idella Walls-Mitchell and Will Mitchell Jr. on March 1st, 1954, in Alachua, Florida.
He passed away on Sunday August 22, 2021, at Mease Dunedin Hospital in Dunedin, Florida.
Len attended schools in Alachua and Pinellas counties, Phoenix, Arizona, and California. He enjoyed listening to music, dancing, traveling, laughing. And spending quality time with all his family, especially his brothers and nephew.
Len believed in God and would attend church periodically.
He is predeceased by his daughter Shanikki Mitchell- Harper, sister Gloria Jean Roberson. Len is survived by: Brothers, Fernell (Jarlean), Mike (Mauniph), William (Diane) Frederick (Michelle) Dwight (Sharlene), a sister Cynthia (Alfred) a special nephew Chris (Phoebe), rest of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The memorial service will be at 11:00am on September 11, 2021, at Newmansville Cemetery African American, Alachua, Florida.
