Lillian Allen Gross Weimer's Obituary
WEIMER, Lillian Allen Gross 86, of Clearwater, passed away November 19, 2014. Lillian moved to Clearwater in 1947. She was a LPN at Weimer’s Convalescent Home and later at Suncoast Hospital. Lillian volunteered at the American Red Cross and the Lion’s Club; was a porcelain artist; avid gardener and orchid grower; and golfer. She is preceded in death by her parents John and Mabel Gross, her husband Gerald B. Weimer, and her companion, Tom Mahar. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth (Tricia) Weimer; son-in-law Ken Bliznick; sister Billie J. Dockery; brother John A. Gross; 14 nieces and nephews and their children and grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Morton Plant Mease Foundation for the areas of greatest need and the American Red Cross. A gathering will be held from 11:30-12 pm on Saturday December 6th at Moss Feaster Funeral Home Clearwater, followed by a celebration of Lillian’s life beginning at 12 pm.
