Lilly Lee Lewis' Obituary
Lilly Lee Lewis, 98, of Dunedin, Florida, passed away peacefully on Tuesday October 19, 2021.
Lilly was born in 1923 near New Concord, Ohio, and graduated from Muskingum College, where she met Robert Lewis, a US Army recruit. After the war ended, they married,
and moved to North Carolina. She was a devoted wife and mother of 3 children. The family moved to Ohio, then West Virginia, and finally St. Petersburg in 1964, as Robert pursued his career as a newspaperman. They resided on Coquina Key and Lilly was a member
of the local garden club. Lilly did some substitute teaching, and studied Spanish, and painting. She and Bob were well known swimmers at Pass-A-Grill Beach. After Bob retired they traveled all to every state in the USA and also around the World, even going
to Japan, China, and Russia. They especially loved to visit Great Britain.
In lieu of flowers, the family would suggest donations in her name to the International Essential Tremor Foundation (at https://essentialtremor.org/what-we-do/research/), or the American Cancer Society.
