Linda M Cogan's Obituary
Linda M. Rabatin Cogan, 75 passed away peacefully on July 21, 2015 in Clearwater, Fl after a lengthy illness. Linda was born on September 16, 1939 in Pittsburgh, Pa. She graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a degree in English. Upon graduation, she taught GI’s in the military. She later earned her Masters Degree from Stetson University in Florida.
Completing her teaching career, Linda taught high school English (including AP, IB and served as the department chair) for over twenty years at Largo High School in Clearwater. She was a creative, enthusiastic and dynamic classroom teacher. Linda was loved and admired by her students and colleagues alike. She will be remembered as a loving and generous person.
She was preceded in death by parents Edwin and Eva May Rabatin. She is survived by loving siblings, Roy Rabatin of Clearwate, sister , Beth Doney (Mike) of Ohio and beloved nephews and nieces, Brett Rabatin, Miranda Clark (Scott), Lindsey Maw (Carter), Megan Doney, Mandy Doney, Lisa Ulery (Jason) and 10 great nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 25th at 10 am, followed by an 11 am service at Moss Feaster Funeral Home Chapel, 693 South Belcher Road, Clearwater, Fl 33764.
