Linda Louise Corsini's Obituary
Linda Louise (nee Otto) Corsini, 78, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2022, at Sabal Palms Health and Rehab Center, in Largo, Florida. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, William H. Corsini, brother David B Otto, brother-in-law James P. McKenna and parents Howard E. and Dorothy (Busch) Otto.
She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Howard E. and Mary Kay Otto of Horseshoe Bay, Texas, sister, Mary Susan (Otto) McKenna of Glenview, Illinois, Sister-in-law, Janet Otto of Champaign, IL and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Linda was born in Logansport, Indiana on April 6, 1944, and spent her childhood in Lockport and Joliet, Illinois. She attended Barat College of Lake Forest, IL and graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a BA in speech and drama.
As a young actress in Chicago (stage name, Nora Wells), Linda appeared in local theater productions such as Drury Lane, won many beauty contests, including the Jim Lounsbury TV Show beauty and talent contest. She appeared in many TV commercials and print ads. A highlight of her career was appearing on the Kellogg’s Cornflakes cereal box. Later in her career, she taught acting and auditioning technique classes. Linda was known for her kindness, positivity, devotion to God and sense of humor.
Linda and Bill were married in 1988. They were devoted Catholics and active members of the Catholic organization, the Focolare Movement, which spreads the message of unity worldwide. Bill and Linda lived between the Focolare headquarters “Mariapolis Luminosa” in Hyde Park, New York and Dunedin, Florida. They were active parishioners at Our Lady of Lourdes parish in Dunedin.
A funeral mass for Linda Corsini will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Dunedin, FL at 4pm, on Friday, September 23, 2022. Internment for both Linda, and Bill, will be held at the Luminosa Cemetery in Hyde Park, NY.
