Susan Humphreys
in honor of Linda.
Linda has been my neighbor for 30 years and I will miss her. She was always out and about, filled with the energy of whatever task was at hand, but whenever she saw me out walking my dog Myakka, she would abandon whatever she was doing to cross the street and take time to pet the dog and chat with me, day or night. I knew Linda as a bright and intelligent woman, generous to a fault. She faced many challenges head-on in those 30 years I knew her, never complaining, always forging ahead. I will miss our driveway chats and feel blessed that she was a presence in my life.
