Brown, Lois Wigginton
92, died October 13, 2018 in Clearwater. She was born August 26, 1926 in Frankfurt Kentucky to Lee and Virginia Wigginton. She attended Trevecca Nazarene College in Nashville Tennessee. It was there she met her beloved Samuel R. Brown. After Sam and Lois were married, she worked at the Nazarene Publishing House while Sam attended the Nazarene seminary in Kansas City, MO. Lois and Sam pastored churches in Orlando, FL; Charleston, SC; Louisville, Kentucky; Charleston, West Virginia; Arlington, Virginia and Clearwater, Florida. Theirs was a lifetime dedicated to the Lord, their family and the Nazarene Church. Lois and Sam had a love affair that lasted sixty-three years. Lois was a dedicated wife, mother and friend to all that had the pleasure of meeting her. A music lover with a beautiful alto voice. She found joy in singing the old hymns and listening to the piano and especially the organ.
She is survived by her son, Mark Brown(Suzanne); daughter, Dr. Lee Ann Brown(Bradley);grandchildren, Rocky, Cassie, Kody Brown and Gabriella Meinck; and the many friends and acquaintances she met throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Reverend Samuel R. Brown and Son, Sammy Lee and brother Milton Wigginton. Lois now joins her heavenly father and family in heaven.
