I will never forget all the great visits I had with Grandma both as a child and an adult. The cookie jar was always filled when Gene and I visited as little kids and the top of the refrigerator was almost always clean. Private joke. I won't forget the visits to the trailer camp, grandma's house in Jamestown and Clearwater. I am so grateful that I was able to see her before she passed. I will never forget. Your loving grandson.
My heart breaks for the loss of a Grandmother so dear. A Grandmother so sweet and kind and so full of wisdom. We did not get to see each other that much because of miles but she was always in my thoughts. When we did get together ..It was as the years never flew by. From day one that I entered the Steele family Grandma and Grandpa took me in as if I was their own blood. It meant so much having grandparents after losing mine as a child . I am happy that we were able to see them on our trip to Florida. She always had nothing but good things to say ..Sorry I was not able to see her before she passed...or make it to her memorial. A loving Grandmother I will remember forever. I know she is up in Heaven looking over us with our other loved ones that we have loss...Rest in Peace Grandma..Lots of Love Always and Forever

Even though I didn't get to spend much of my life with Great Grandma I am still going to miss her like crazy. Great Grandma was one of the most sweetest and kind women I have ever met. It makes me sad that I couldn't be at the memorial today. My thoughts are with Great Grandpa today and I wish I could be there with him. I love you so much Great Grandma and I know you are in a better place now.
Lois was a second "Mom" to me. I spent a lot of time with her and my brother Gene in Jamestown as I was growing up. I loved her dearly as we all did. She will be missed by all of us. Denny & Peggy (Steele) Vredevoogd (Jenison, Michigan) .

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy. Lois has been my my friend and neighbor for many years and I am deeply saddened by her passing.
So many fond memories of my Aunt Lois! I know she will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Praying for her loved ones.
Love that withstands all adversity is an inspiration to those who are able to observe it. Lois demonstrated that love in her relationships. She was admired and respected. I pray that Eugene and her children will have peace knowing she is still an important part of their lives.
