Lorine Day Craft's Obituary
Lorine Day Craft, 86, of Palm Harbor, Florida, passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord on December 4, 2025. Born on August 11, 1939, in Bainbridge, Georgia, she was the cherished daughter of the late Thomas Riley Day and Etta Harrell Day.
A devoted Baptist throughout her life, Lorine lived her faith with a gentle spirit, a generous heart, and a steadfast dedication to her family. In her early years, she was athletic and full of energy—traits that blossomed into a lifelong love of the outdoors. Whether camping beneath the stars, fishing on quiet waters, turning the pages of a good book, or riding motorcycles with a sense of adventure, Lorine embraced life with curiosity and joy.
For 38 years, Lorine served the Pinellas County School System as a student assistant, touching countless young lives with compassion, encouragement, and patience. Her dedication to the students and staff she supported was a shining example of her caring nature.
Family was the center of Lorine’s world. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Calvin Day, Thomas Day, Lamar Day, and William Day; and her sister, Christine Bullock.
She leaves behind her loving husband of 67 years, Donald Eugene Craft Sr.; two sons, Donald Eugene (Donna) Craft Jr. and Dennis E. Craft; and her adored grandson, Nathan (Kristin) Riley Craft. Her legacy lives on in their hearts and in the many beautiful memories they share.
Pallbearers will be Nate Craft, Tyrone Craft, Raymond Day, Steven Day, Hank Day, and Peter Stamas.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, 1320 Main Street, Dunedin, Florida. A funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m., followed by a committal service at Midway Cemetery in Palm Harbor, Florida.
Lorine’s warmth, love, and unwavering strength will be forever remembered by all who had the blessing of knowing her.
