Louis Alexander DiDario's Obituary
Louis Alexander DiDario, 84, of Dunedin, Florida, passed away December 21, 2024. He was born in Plainfield, New Jersey. He and his beloved wife, Carol, moved to Florida in 1973 and purchased their home in Dunedin in 1974. He worked as an Ford auto mechanic and was employed by Ken Marks /Freedom Ford, Walker Ford and several others in his 50+ years of employment. He also proudly served in the United States Air Force as an aircraft mechanic. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
Lou was a devoted family man and quintessential outdoorsman. He loved to hunt and fish. When he wasn't fishing, he enjoyed watching Yankees Baseball, NASCAR, football, and spending time with his adoring family. Louis is preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Carol DiDario; and his parents, Frank and Edna DiDario. He is survived by his three daughters, Lisa DiDario, Denise (Daniel Streckfuss) DiDario, and Janice DiDario; his siblings, Thomas (Fran) DiDario and Frank (Lucille) DiDario, and Madeline (George) Belsky; five grandchildren, Venice Kitchen, Taylor Johnson, Addison Johnson, Giovanni Streckfuss, and Lucian Streckfuss; and two great-grandchildren, Kendall and Riley Gauthier.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Friends of the Island Parks or to Humane Society of Pinellas County.
