Lucille A. Stinson's Obituary
Lucille A. Stinson, 92, of Palm Harbor, Florida, passed Saturday, August 15, 2015 at Marliere Hospice Care Center in New Port Richey, Florida.
She was born in Bemidji, Minnesota. Lucille’s was an Elementary School teacher for 31 years in Minnesota. She was a member of the American Legion and VFW Auxiliaries,
Minnesota Education Association, National Education Association and a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Minnesota. Lucille attended Lutheran Church of the Resurrection in Palm Harbor.
She enjoyed volunteering at Cypress Woods School in Palm Harbor for 17 years. She also loved to knit, crochet, sew and word find puzzles.
Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, George Stinson and son, Jerry M. Stinson. She is survived by her son, James C. (Nancy) Stinson; daughter, Joanne Marie (John) Stillman; grandchildren, Dan Stillman, Krystle (Jay) Cadwallader; great-grandchildren, Max Stillman and Katie Cadwallader.
Memorial donations in Lucille’s memory can be made to the American Heart Association.
