Lucio Canini's Obituary
CANINI, Lucio, 88 passed away peacefully on March 1, 2016. He was born on October 27, 1927 in Fontechiari, Italy. He immigrated from Italy to the United States in 1947, coming through Ellis Island. He married his wife Josephine and they started their adventure together. Lucio was a carpenter by trade and love wood working. For hobbies he enjoyed bowling, fishing, and travelling with his wife. Lucio loved to socialize and a nice day would be a day spent with family, friends, a deck of cards, a glass of wine , and his wife’s cooking. He was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Catherines Church.
He is pre deceased by his wife of 58 years, Josephine. Survivors include, daughter Anna(Rick),Nancy(Floyd),Palma(Bill), Julie, and Maria(Mike) ; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Suncoast Hospice.
