Luiginia "Gina" Smith's Obituary
Gina Smith, 91, of Clearwater, Florida passed away December 29, 2025. Gina was born in Novara, Italy, the daughter of Giorgio Tosi and Angela Sacco. She was a NASA-certified electronic assembler and trouble shooter in the aerospace industry. Retirement allowed Gina to return to Italy to visit family and friends. Gina was an excellent cook and gardener. She delighted in preparing Italian dishes from scratch, with her specialty, lasagna, for family and friends. Gina was an avid Rays fan.
Gina was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 43 years, Kenneth. Gina is survived by her son, Louis Sacco, granddaughter, Gabrielle, nephew Giorgio Platini (Maria), niece Rinalda Platini (Carlo), and great nieces and nephew Alessandra, Elena, Paolo, and Roberta and their families. Gina will be greatly missed by her long time friends and her friends and the staff at Regal Palms.
