Luise M. Borgers' Obituary
Borgers, Luise, 93, passed away November 15, 2016. Born in Hamburg, Germany, as a young girl Luise emigrated to the United States where she resided with her parents in Detroit, Michigan.
In 1955, she, her husband, Albert Borgers, whom she married in 1942, and her children moved to Indian Rocks Beach in Pinellas County. Luise is the mother of five children.
She worked for the Clerk of the Pinellas County Circuit Court for many years, retiring in 1993. Luise was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church on East Bay Drive.
Her husband of 36 years preceded her in death as well as her infant son, Matthew, and her son Mark. She is survived by a daughter, Kathryn Hill of Las Cruz, NM, Keith Borgers of Largo, FL, and Erich of rural IL. She is also survived by six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Other biographical facts:
The Borgers’ family relocation to Indian Rocks Beach was to assist her parents with their restaurant business.
She earned the “White Glove Award” from Manpower to change a temporary position at the Pinellas County Circuit Clerk Office into a permanent position for almost 27 years.
After retirement Luise kept active delivering “Meals on Wheels” to many houses within Pinellas County. She also volunteered with other groups.
Luise enjoyed camping and traveling with her husband. Later, after his death, she enjoyed cruising different seas.
She was a charter member of Christ the King Lutheran Church on Oakhurst Rd., Largo, FL.
Luise lived at Imperial Palms for 25 years and Regal Palms for almost 3 years.
