Maida Baker Kelly's Obituary
Kelly, Maida “Honey” (Baker) 92, of Clearwater, died Nov. 23, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born Aug. 13, 1922 in Tampa, Maida graduated from Hillsborough High School and attended Florida Southern College before joining the Navy WAVES during WWII. Maida was predeceased by Aloysius, husband of 37 years, and sisters Ann and Frances. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes, Circle of Joy prayer group, Council of Catholic Women, Suncoast WAVES, volunteered at St. Vincent de Paul thrift store, and was an enthusiastic Florida Gator! She is survived by her three sons, Thomas (Libby), Timothy (Linda), and Jay (Debi), eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Viewing 12:00 at Moss-Feaster, Dunedin. Funeral mass 2:00 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Nov. 28. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
