Marga K. Betz's Obituary
Marga (Krook) Betz, of Clearwater, FL, died peacefully
at Morton Plant Rehab Center in Bellaire, FL on Nov. 17, 2021.
She was 87.
Raised in New Ipswich, NH, Marga graduated from Appleton Academy,
and the University of New Hampshire. At UNH she studied microbiology, and
worked in the chemistry departments at a number of hospitals and labs in New Hampshire,
Maine and Connecticut for over 35 years.
Marga valued education, and challenged her mind, learning new things every day. She inspired all of us to do the same ~"Keep learning" - she would say. She loved roses and beautiful gardens, and created some exquisite rock gardens over the years that provided peace, tranquility and reflection from the hectic pace. She inspired a love of the arts, and enjoyed a good play or performance. She valued her friendships, looking forward to visits and chats.
Marga also so loved her furry friends and their unconditional love -
so many which became part of our family ~
Lola, Sandy, Artie, Sassy, Buddha, Shadow and so many others.
Above all, she loved her children and grandchildren, and was so proud of them.
Marga provided beauty and grace to this world, and a
gentle spirit of kindness. She always reminded us to enjoy every day, every moment.
Marga leaves daughters Diane Betz Tavitian (Dave) of Hampton, NH; and Carolyn Kerr of Niskayuna, NY; grandchildren Dillon Tavitian, Jack Kerr, Putnam Kerr, and Lila Kerr;
