Margie and I, along with Paula Rose and Connie Rawnsley, were roommates at McCollum Hall. I don't know if you have ever been there but they are like 2-story apartments for upper classmen. Bedrooms and desks are upstairs, kitchen and small living room is downstairs, along with a balcony. Once someone (I don't remember who, but either Paula or Margie) thought of a prank to lower a $1.00 bill on the end of a fishing pole down to the sidewalk behind our building where people entered/exited. When they saw the bill they would go to pick it up and we would snatch it up with the fishing pole! We LAUGHED OUR ASSES OFF. The pranked person not so much. As we yanked the bill up and the person looked up, we stepped back from the edge of the balcony so we wouldn't be seen. More laughter. And Margie's laugh always cracked me up. I can hear her saying something like, "We are so baaaad." Or "We are so immature!" Which cracked me up even more. We did this from the 7th or 9th floor. 9th floor was the top. Such good times.
Maybe you "had to be there" but the silliness and laughter is such a vivid memory. <3<3
