Grandma Peggy always had the ability to make me cry...but in a good way. When I was younger I had a chip on my shoulder and was usually defiant or angry. As I got older, new issues that were difficult to express would eat away at me. She always managed to break through that artificial exterior I would mask myself with. Whether in person or over the phone, her nurturing demeanor and sweet tone would give me so much love that I would cry a little. She had this incredible gift of expressing sincere love to all that she cared for. I will always remember that feeling. We will meet up again Grandma Peggy.
