Marianne Bendinelli's Obituary
On February 1, 2023, Marianne Bendinelli of Palm Harbor Florida, beloved wife of James and mother of three passed away at the age of 72.
Marianne was born on January 5, 1951, in Chicago, Illinois, to Harold and Ann Truby. On January 8, 1972, she married James Bendinelli. They raised one daughter, Cecilia, and two sons, Peter and Nicholas.
Marianne was retired from South Suburban College where she was an administrative assistant. Marianne was especially proud of her public service. She was an elected official for the Village of Burnham for over a decade as well as an appointed member of the Thornton Township Diversity Committee.
Marianne will be dearly missed by her eight grandchildren; Jacob, Mary, Morgan, Mariana, Allison, Mia, Logan, and Peyton. They will all remember Nana for her kisses and cheek squeezes.
Marianne loved her Florida life, especially enjoying walks, shelling and sunsets at Honeymoon Island. She will be forever remembered for her signature phrase at every sunset, “Thankyou for another beautiful day!”
