Mario Norman Oscar Cruz's Obituary
It is with broken hearts, the Cruz family announce the unexpected passing of Mario Norman Oscar Cruz, age 55 of Tampa, FL, on May 23, 2022. He was a loving father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He previously worked for Intertek Caleb Brett Petroleum Services as an onshore tank/ship inspector and chem tech. He had a personality larger than life and was the Life of the Party, and went by the nickname of “Boogie”. He always had a joke or could make you laugh, there was never a dull moment when he was around. Mario was born October 22, 1966 and predeceased by his parents, Ethel Elizabeth Bowens and Mario Jesus Cruz. He is survived by his adult son’s Damien Cruz and Trevor Cruz; Siblings Elizabeth Lamb (David), Phillip Ballard (Leann-predeceased), Abelardo Cruz (Melissa), multiple Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
