Don & I wish to express our deepest sympathy at the loss of this wonderful woman. We grew to know Marion as a lector at St Michael's. I shared in the fact that we were both pretty short in stature so people sitting in the first few pews in front of the ambo only heard our voices...our heads not being visible from those seats. She was one of the best, well prepared readers on our team. We also loved seeing her at the weekly Lenten fish fries at the K of C Hall in Dunedin. She always had a kind word and often a good one-liner to get us laughing. She also "got" my husband's sense of humor. I'm sure our loving God has given her a very warm welcome to her heavenly home.
