Martha Baraban's Obituary
In loving memory of Martha Baraban…
On the 26th day of March of the year 2021 god called home the beautiful and loving soul of Martha Baraban. She was a beautiful, faithful, and loving person survived by her husband Zenon Baraban, her son Andrew Baraban, her grand-daughter Andi Baraban, her mother Marta Corcoran, her Sisters Luisa Mosa and Ann Hernandez, and her brother Jon Hernandez.
Martha was born in Mexico City, MX on March 21, 1952. She immigrated with her family to the united states when she was 1 years old. Martha began her life of service by graduating from Kings Community College in Brooklyn New York with an Associate Degree in Nursing. As her nursing career progressed, she would find her way into Labor and Delivery. She would spend close to twenty-five years doing God’s work by helping mothers and fathers bring their children into the world and helping new parents adapt to the first few days to their new responsibility of being parents. During this time, she would meet and fall in love with her husband, have a beautiful child, and move from Brooklyn, NY to Largo, FL.
Martha had a passion for nursing and helping people. She never helped somebody with an expectation of receiving any type of acknowledgement. She just knew it was the right thing to do. She always seemed to have a smile on her face and a loved entertaining people. Whether this was for an anniversary, a birthday, or just because it was Sunday. She always believed that celebrations should be big. In her eyes there was no point of a small celebration. She had a laugh that was unique, infectious, and satisfying. Once she would start laughing her laugh could infect an entire room and within moments, she could have an entire room laughing and smiling because of it. Her family and friends can all share stories about this.
Martha Baraban will be missed by so many. She had a passion for her life, her family, and anyone who needed her help. Let us not remember that she is no longer with us but rejoice that she is at peace and no longer suffering. Let us smile knowing that she is heaven smiling back at us. Let us rejoice in celebrating her life and the vibrant way she lived it. Let us celebrate that this is not an end but a beginning of another journey for her and that one day we will all be reunited together in that same journey. To whomever is reading this, remember her final lesson. The one she is teaching you as you read these words. Life is the most precious and fragile thing in the world do not wait for tomorrow or later. Live it right now……..
