Mary Albertson's Obituary
Heaven gained a new angel on November 1, 2018 as our wonderful mom went to join our dad at home with our Lord. Mary Albertson, 91, was born in Indiana and became a “snowbird” after retirement. She loved to quilt and had made many through the years. She was quite the card shark and enjoyed a mean game of rummy and was still sharp enough at 91 to add up her points, and she usually won! She loved games, birds, butterflies, laughing, but mostly family and just being together. We recently celebrated her 91st birthday with her favorite, a chocolate ganache supreme cake from Publix! She denied having a sweet tooth, but "maybe just a bite" often turned into her eating a whole slice, enjoying every single morsel. Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. William E. Albertson, 3 sisters and both parents. She is survived by 3 daughters, 4 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. Services are private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Mary’s favorite charity, US Society of St. Vincent de Paul at https://interland3.donorperfect.net/weblink/weblink.aspx?name=e135450&id=21
