Mary was born in NJ and went to Neptune High School, where she was a cheerleader.
She was married to Josef P., had 3 children, and lived in various locations in New Jersey. While living in New Jersey, she also learned to paint.
Years later, she married James L. They moved to Pennsylvania and had a daughter.
Mary worked primarily as a homemaker but had various jobs throughout her life and volunteered at the Philadelphia Tourism Bureau. She was also a member of the Jersey Shore Hospital Ladies Auxiliary.
She was a member of the Ladies Chorus, Sweet Adelines Barbershop Quartet singing organization throughout her life and loved singing and performing at events in her community.
Mary moved back to NJ where she met and married Jacob (“Jack”). Mary and Jack moved to Florida and lived happily there until Jack’s death. They spent many years taking cruises, enjoying life in their community and watching their local grandchild, Sandy, grow up.
In later years, Mary like to read mystery novels, do crossword puzzles and listen to music.
Mary had many friends and family with whom she loved to keep in touch by phone, as evidenced by her phone bill! She also had a beautiful smile and a great sense of humor and enjoyed her daily dose of jokes from her son.
Many thanks to Anne, Suncoast Hospice and her caregivers at Hallmark; Mike, Mary and Tiffany, who lovingly assisted with her final care.
Loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother and wonderful friend, Mary will be missed by us all.
