Hazel has been the ideal of a Life Well Lived. She was always upbeat with a bright smile and a welcoming attitude. As a Windlass(sailboats) , Windrider (bicycles) and Windyaker (kayaks), she participated with enthusiasm and was always ready to try anything. I played mah Jong and bridge with her weekly for several years- she loved games and often said, "even if you don't win, it's still fun!" Condolences to the family and to all who loved her. She was a very rare and precious soul.

As a newcomer to Florida, I was fortunate to be greeted by
Hazel who became a very close friend.
She was the perfect blend of a wonderful person who gave of herself
to others.
So suddenly, her light went out of our lives - leaving us with a wonderful gift
of memories of one who lived life to the fullest.
