Mary T. Kleinrichert's Obituary
Kleinrichert, Mary Therese, 84, of Castro Valley, CA (formerly Clearwater, FL) died March 17, 2014. Mary was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to James and Dorothy Goodman. She is preceded in death by her husband Denis J. Kleinrichert, her husband of 56 years. After a secretarial career in Toronto, she came to Fort Wayne, Indiana when they married in 1956. Their four children are: Denise Kleinrichert, San Francisco; Joseph (Paula) Kleinrichert, Roswell, Georgia; Stephen (Christa) Kleinrichert, Marietta, Georgia; and Carolyn (Dale) Reynolds, Ocoee Florida. They have grandchildren: Reed, Alyssa, Jesse, Emma, Ethan, Tyler and Gabe. Mary is survived by her sister, Christine Goodman, Toronto, and predeceased by her sister Kathleen Bettes and brother James Goodman. She has numerous nieces and nephews in Canada and the United States.She was a cast member in a number of drama productions, several in the leading role, in Toronto and Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was also a prolific painter – watercolor, acrylic and oil. She was active in several art societies, and was awarded numerous ribbons for her paintings at art shows in Indiana and Florida. She was an avid tennis player in her youth, and spent many summers teaching her children how to play tennis as well. Mary and Denny retired to Pinellas County, Florida in 1988. They were members of Queen of Angels Catholic Church, St. Jude Catholic Church, St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Fort Wayne, as well as St. Cecelia Catholic Church and finally St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Clearwater Florida. She and Dad were active members of the Society for St. Vincent DePaul for over 15 years in Clearwater.
