I spent time with Mary five months before she passed. Through major holidays and storms in Florida . We had a lot in common.
I called it Trump , Tennis and Tobacco . Our families had tobacco farms . She loved watching Heartland . A nice horse family story . She loved watching sports and we lived for the multiple sports events on weekends, especially Tennis
I sold real estate with Mary and also had a continuing education class with her husband. He was always so proud of and in awe of her energy.
She was so proud of all her grandchildren .
She missed her husband terribly when he passed first. I found his letters to her during the early part of her marriage. Charles was the last group stationed in Viet Nam. The girls enjoyed seeing a glimpse of their parents’ early marriage , and he wrote with a beautiful cursive.
