Mary K Phillips' Obituary
Mary K. Phillips (“Murray”) age 76, a resident of Naperville, Illinois passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 27, 2025.
Beloved wife of 2 years to Richard A. Conte, whom she married on July 22nd, 2023; loving mother to Mike (Debbie) Phillips of Naperville and Kelli (Tom) O’Reilly of Naperville, step-mother to Jen (Jason) Takeda of Naperville and Ellen (Mark) Batinick of Plainfield; adored grandmother to Megan and Curran Phillips, Matthew, Patrick, and Emily Spisak and step grandchildren Abby Doyle, Annabelle and Max Batinick; dear sister to Jane (Mike) Hefty, Judy (Andrew) Bala, Rick Krupa, Patrick (Kristine) Krupa, and sister-in-law Laura Krupa.
She is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Estelle Krupa, and her brothers Daniel Krupa and Joseph Krupa.
Mary grew up in the Chicago area, surrounded by the love of a large family that became her own legacy. She dedicated her life to her loved ones, always making family her top priority. Although she was primarily a homemaker, she also worked for many years as an Office Administrator. In retirement, she volunteered at the local hospital, food bank, and consignment store. Her greatest joy was spending time with and caring for her home and family.
Visitation is Friday November 14th from 10:00 am until time of Mass 11:00 am at Notre Dame Catholic Church 64 Norfolk Ave., Clarendon Hills, IL
Join us to celebrate Mary’s life following the service from 1:00 pm-4:00pm at Warehouse 109, 14903 South Center Street, Unit 109, Plainfield, IL.
