Mary Alice Joyner Pierce loved M&Ms, Vanilla Ice cream and Cheese toast almost as much as she loved all her family. When Mary was around 5 years old, she went to church with a friend. She said from then on, she knew having a relat Read Obituary
Mom I miss you. Dad’s with you now. I love you both so very much!
As the oldest grandchild of Eunice and Thelma JOYNER, Aunt Mary is in my very earliest memory. It was she and her George, before they were married, that took me to church with them. I remember vividly skipping along the sidewalk in front of them as they walked hand-in-hand to church on Sunday mornings. I give the two of them full credit for the fact that I’ve known Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior for the majority of my life. I have always regarded Aunt Mary as one of the sweetest persons that ever walked this earth (but she was nobody’s pushover either). My heart goes out to her family and those who have known her. Feel blessed that she was in your life, and to be sure you see her again, accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and she’ll be waiting just inside the Eastern Gate.

That sunshine smile and sweet southern voice brightened many of my days. Mrs Mary P. loved many things...anybody’s baby, vanilla ice cream, “green fruit” and cheese toast, m&ms... but honestly she loved nothing more than she loved her family. She was the queen of her family, knew it, loved it. She was sassy and funny and it was my extreme pleasure to call her my friend. The lord welcomed this one with wide open arms and now he gets to enjoy her delightful company. What a lady, I’m lucky to have had her in my life.
Sending my deepest sympathies. I didn't have the pleasure of knowing your Mom, but I can tell you certainly take after her. Her smile is captivating and those eyes!! Why, I bet you didn't get away with much because it appears she can see right through you. She's walking in heaven with Jesus now so RIP Mary.
