It has been many, many years.
I was 11 years old and had been invited to the Shirvis home for a sleepover with Barbara.
Mrs. Shirvis was kind, welcoming and caring. It has been well over 50 years yet I will never forget her kindness.
My deepest condolences to the Shirvis family.
My kind and generous mother, who was my guide and tireless supporter in all ways. I miss you everyday, Mom, but I try to honor your values of generosity, compassion, and quietly but steadfastly doing the right thing. You are so loved.
Mary was a totally devoted wife and mother. She was so smart ,so strong, so organized and loved her family beyond words. She was blessed to have had 3 sons and a daughter who loved and cared for her without fail and with total devotion. She loved having family and friends get together every Sunday for wonderful dinners. Mary was a story teller and loved telling them to her family. She is someone who will always be missed. I love you Mary
