MaryJeanne because good friends with my mom, Alice Moree, when she worked at Mease. Along with Noel Conrad, the three of them enjoyed time together long after their working years. They were lucky enough to all end up at Mease Manor together. I’m sorry for your loss. I know how the sadness of a mother’s passing. This picture was taken at Bon Appetite in Dunedin. They did enjoy a nice dinner out, with drinks!
Mary Jeanne has been a loving and supportive mother-in-law to my sister Bobbie (Barbara). She opened her home to our family when we came to Florida over several days to visit our terminally ill sister. Bobbie has shared many fond memories of times spent with MJ. Rest in Peace, MJ. I worked with Mary Jeanne Stanton when she was the OB supervisor at Mease Dunedin and I was a Nurse Midwife in private practice with Dr.'s Levin and Nealy from 1977-1984. She was instrumental in getting the first Birthing Rooms available to Expectant mothers. She was very proud of her nurses and all the innovative things we were doing in those days. I have thought of her many times over the past 44 years. May she rest in peace!

Mary Jeanne and I worked together at the Florida International Museum, part of the Thursday one group. She was such an out going personality, fun to be around. She loved her family and told many stories about them especially of her travels with her grandchildren. Her camp on the Suwannee was another favorite topic of conversation, I regret I never got to visit her there. My deepest condolences to all her family. Cherish your memories. - Laurel McQueen
