Maureen S Bassant's Obituary
BASSANT, Maureen S. of New Port Richey passed away peacefully on October 1, 2014. She was born on July 30, 1956 in Bay Shore, NY and moved to Florida in 1979. Maureen worked as a benefits analyst for Ceridian Analysts. When she wasn’t working she really enjoyed drag racing and the NHRA nationals in Gainesville, FL. Maureen also loved spending time with her grandkids and family as well as cooking the big meal for Thanksgiving. She is pre-deceased by her parents, Ashley and Patricia. She is survived by her husband of 16 years John; daughter, Lauren Baker (Shane); grandchildren, Matthew and Nicholas; sister, Kathy and Patricia. She will be missed by all who knew her. A service is planned for Sunday October 5th at 12pm at Moss Feaster Dunedin.
