Melissa Denson Porter's Obituary
Melissa Denson Porter, a native of Houma, Louisiana and resident of Clearwater, Florida passed away at the age of 50 surrounded by family on Monday, August 2nd.
Visitation will be held from 8am-10am on Friday, August 13th at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, located at 693 South Belcher Road Clearwater, FL 33764. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Cecelia Church Friday, August 13th at 10:30 AM with the burial to follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Melissa is survived by her spouse Les Porter and their two daughters Alaina Porter and Lindsey Porter. She is also survived by her mother Dale Denson and two brothers Todd Denson (Sheri) and David Denson (Melissa).
Melissa is preceded in death by her father M. Wayne Denson Jr., Grandparents Milton and Edith Denson, Earlis and Winnie Adams.
Melissa loved her family dearly. She was a loving wife of 27 years and caring mother. Melissa was a great role model for her daughters. She shaped her family through her selfless nature for which she will be missed deeply. Melissa impacted many lives along her journey with her generous spirit and loyalty to friends.
The family would like to thank all the support and sympathy we have received. We would also like to thank Suncoast Hospice for their care at the end of her journey.
