Jimmy, as we all called him, was a young man full of life. If you ever had the pleasure of meeting him, he was the kind of person that you never forgot. He had a radiant smile, a corky sense of humor and loved to laugh. As all of his friends and family knew, he was a kind and loving soul and would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation.
Melvin "Jimmy" Buelvas, 31, of Tampa, FL passed away April 18, 2017 . He was born Daegu, South Korea December 21, 1985 to Alan Buelvas and Hye- Kyong-Na-Trippedo. Besides his parents, Jimmy is survived by a sister, Sara Buelvas and his brother, Christian Trippedo; his step-father, Rudy Trippedo; paternal grandparents, Milagros Rivera & Marcos Buelvas; maternal grandmother Kim, Bong-Soon and several aunts, uncles & cousins. Jimmy loved his work as a restaurant manager at Kona Grill in Tampa and Miami, FL. Jimmy enjoyed going to the beach and listening to Frank Sinatra and all other Rat Pack music.
Jimmy genuinely touched a lot of people. If you were lucky enough to be his friend, you actually experienced a man that devoted himself to that friendship. Jimmy had no limits. He was all in, for whatever needed to be done at that time.
